Where Curiosity Leads and Little Voices Shine
The heart behind Teacher Claire’s Sing and Play Studio
Hi there, I’m Claire!
I’m a preschool teacher in Oregon with a deep passion for empowering young children to become independent, confident, compassionate, and curious lifelong learners. I believe childhood is sacred—a time for joy, wonder, discovery, and play—and I strive to create learning experiences that honor each child’s pace, interests, and spark.
When I’m not in the classroom, I love to sing, watercolor, cook, travel, and spend quality time with my family and friends. Creativity and connection fuel everything I do—both in life and in learning.
This blog is my little corner of the internet where I share ideas, reflections, and resources for creating developmentally appropriate, meaningful, and magical experiences for young children. Whether you’re an educator, a parent, or someone who simply believes in the power of play—you’re welcome here.
I’m currently dreaming big and working toward opening my very own preschool—Teacher Claire’s Sing and Play Studio—in the fall of 2029. It will be a Reggio-inspired, child-led, music-filled space where curiosity leads and learning blooms.
